i cannot stress this more than i already have but...

GROUP PRESENTATIONS SUCK.
come on say it with me. GROUP WORK WITH GROUP MEMBERS THAT DONT REALLY CARE WHAT THE DATELINE IS SUCKS.

First week back in Melbourne

so...its day 4 of the first week of my 5th sem in uni...and im not liking it.
grrrrr.
sure the timetable is pretty nice with only one lecture on both wednesday and friday...but seriously...
the only biomed core unit SUCKS. ARSE.
tutes teach us how to write abstracts in pairs/groups, do journal work and presentations in groups...and there r like bloody 3 presentations already to do in the next 3 weeks. WTH.
it wouldnt be so bad if i KNEW ppl...i hate being stuck in a group of ppl who dont care about whatever the fuck they're doing and leave me to do all the work.
or if they wanna do things their way and only their way is the best way. ARGH.
and it really sucks that all ur friends are in another tute time slot and ur the only one in this time slot and everyone else knows each other and so have made their own groups leaving u to be one of those left out loners. GAH.
and then theres the other unit i find v interesting but has that presentation in front of a 150 ppl thing in a group again with ppl u dont know!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
and japanese is killing me...i simply do not have the time to memorise KANJI and VOCAB every week while juggling biomed subjects :(

but asides from that, everything else is going ok.

i miss you guys sooo much, it's not even funny. i hope you guys are doing fine.

i'm done with my summer research! just submitted my write up today, so hopefully my supervisor (who looks awfully a lot like ugly betty, seriously) approves it and i'm good to go! i'm flying home this coming thursday. so ho, meet up?? (:

it's been really really hot here for the past few days (like, near 40 degrees). i really feel like dying.
